Health & Wellness

September is suicide prevention month. It is the second leading cause of death in teens, aged 15-19 (Stastisa, 2023). The CDC has a great article about suicide that is helpful for parents, teens, and the community. Please take time to review the article and access the links. If you or a loved one needs support, there are hotlines and excellent resources. https://www.cdc.gov/suicide/index.html

NHS will be participating and volunteering at the suicide prevention walk on September 30th from 7 am-2 pm at Hoffmantown Church. We welcome anyone in the PAPA community to join us and invite family and friends. https://supporting.afsp.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=donorDrive.event&eventID=9135
