Students, this is a reminder to take good care of your school-issued Chromebook. This means not putting stickers on it, not drawing on it, and being careful not to close any papers, books, or notebooks inside the Chromebook when you finish class. If you put items inside the Chromebook, it may leave a black line and damage the screen. Take time to put your Chromebook away in your backpack in its case before you leave class.
If you are planning on taking a dual credit course this summer; you must have it approved by Mrs. Walker first. Stop by her room #24 and have a chat about it.

- UNM School of Engineering Summer Programs
The first program is for incoming high school freshmen and sophomores. It is a four-week commuter program in the month of June (Monday-Friday from June 2 – 27). Students will have classes teaching math, programming, and other related topics, there will be hands-on activities where students will get to put what they’re learning to use, and weekly field trips. The program is designed to introduce students to a range of engineering topics, and each week is themed around a different topic.
The second program is for incoming high school juniors and seniors. It is a three-week residential program in the month of July (July 7 – 25) where students will be living in dorms on campus. Similar to the June program, it also has classes, activities, and field trips. This program is focused on transportation and is in partnership with the Federal Highway Administration and the NM Department of Transportation.

Health & Wellness
Hi everyone, Peer to Peer here! Today’s message is all about staying motivated! The end of the school year is in sight, but we have to work together and encourage each other to end the year strong. Try setting small goals for yourself each week to keep you going, and don’t forget to give yourself little rewards too. Sweet treats always do the trick!
