Mark your calendars! Winter Ball: A Night Under the Aurora is happening on January 31, 2026 in the Café. 🌌

Join us for a magical night of music, dancing, and memories. Winter Ball Court voting will take place at the dance, and court winners will be announced between 8:30–9:00 PM, so make sure to stick around!

This year, Winter Ball will have a full royal court, and we want you to run for royalty! PAPA Winter Ball Court applications are now open! Pick up an application and turn it in to Mrs. Muniz in Room 18 by Wednesday, January 21 at 3:00 PM — no exceptions!

To be on the ballot, you must attend the Winter Ball Court meeting during high school lunch on January 21, have your Winter Ball ticket purchased, be in good standing, and have at least a 2.5 GPA. Voting happens at the dance, so you must attend to vote — and to win!

PAPA School Dance Participation Rules:

PAPA dances are for PAPA students and their approved guests only. The dances are for students in good standing. Any student who is suspended at the time of the dance or who withdraws from PAPA, not in good standing, may not attend.

Rules that all students and their guests will follow while in attendance:

1. Students attending must purchase a ticket in advance and be on the approved guest list to be admitted to the dance.

2. Must be a current high school student to attend a PAPA-sponsored dance.

3. If bringing an outside guest, you may only bring 1 person.

4. Every person attending the dance must abide by all PAPA rules and regulations.

5. Bullying, harassment, or any form of inappropriate behavior is strictly prohibited. Create a positive, inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels welcome.

6. A breathalyzer will be used at the dance entry. Students under the influence, possession, or distribution of alcohol or illegal drugs will be subject to disciplinary action and legal consequences.

7. No backpacks are allowed into the dance; purses, belongings, and pockets will be searched.

8. This is a semi-formal event; dress accordingly.

We do not refund tickets. They are nonrefundable.

Arriving and leaving the dance:

Students should arrive on time and no later than one hour after the dance starts. Once admitted

into the dance, students and guests are not allowed to “come and go.” You are not allowed to

leave to go to your car for forgotten items. Remember to bring those items with you when you

enter. Water and restrooms are available inside the dance area. You will not be readmitted if you

leave the dance. Students are not allowed to leave the dance early without a parent phone call.

Breathalyzer and drug testing will be used as necessary.
