Picture Day!

Dear PAPA Families, Students, and Staff,

Picture Day is almost here! Student photos will be taken on Monday, August 10, 2026, the third day of school.

Throughout the school day, students will be escorted with their classmates to have their school photographs taken. These photographs will be used for:

  • Student ID cards
  • The 2026–2027 school yearbook
  • School records

Ordering School Photos

Families who would like to purchase school photos may do so before Picture Day by using the information below:

You may also scan the QR code on the attached Picture Day reminder to place your order directly from your mobile device. The attached flyer includes ordering information in both English and Spanish for your convenience.

Performing Arts Headshots

As a performing arts school, students will also receive a professional-style headshot during Picture Day.

A headshot is a close-up, professional photograph that highlights a student’s face and shoulders. These photos are commonly used for:

  • Theatre auditions
  • Dance and music auditions
  • Film and television opportunities
  • College performing arts applications
  • Scholarships and competitions
  • Professional portfolios and résumés

Having a current, high-quality headshot is a valuable resource for students pursuing opportunities in the performing arts throughout the school year.

What Should Students Wear?

To ensure students look their best in both their yearbook photo and professional headshot, we recommend:

  • Solid-colored clothing (avoid large logos or busy patterns)
  • Clothing that reflects your personality while remaining school appropriate
  • Neutral or jewel-tone colors that photograph well
  • Hair styled as you would normally wear it for an audition or performance
  • Minimal accessories and natural-looking makeup, if desired

Students should wear clothing they feel confident and comfortable performing in, as these headshots may be used throughout the year for auditions and performance opportunities.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the school office. We look forward to seeing everyone’s smiles on Monday, August 10!
Thank you,

PAPA Yearbook Staff
