Provide Open House Feedback
Your feedback helps us continue to improve our events and better serve our PAPA families.
Every day, our students have a choice about how they show up—in the classroom, on the stage, in the studio, and in our community.
This year, we are challenging our students to Perform with Purpose by being:
🎯 CONSISTENT — Do your best, every day.
💡 INTENTIONAL — Make choices that move you closer to your goals.
🤝 RESPECTFUL — Treat yourself, others, and our school community with kindness and respect.
Performance is about more than what happens on stage. It is how we live, learn, lead, and treat others every day.
Show up. Make a choice. Make it count. Perform with Purpose!
🐾 Recognizing PAPA-Paw-sitivity
Kindness is part of the PAPA way! We encourage students to take care of our school, their belongings, and one another—and to leave things better than they found them.
Did you notice a PAPA student demonstrating exceptional kindness or respect? Help us recognize them through our PAPA-Paw-sitivity program!
Nominations can be submitted using the form outside the front office or by emailing info@paparts.org.
🍎 Free Breakfast & Lunch for All Students
Breakfast and lunch are free for all PAPA students each school day.
Students who plan to eat school lunch should let their 1st period teacher know so our Café team can prepare enough food for everyone.
Because our school receives meal reimbursement, students will be asked to follow the required meal components and café procedures. Please remind your student to follow the signs and directions in the café, enjoy some fresh air during lunch, and return their tray to the café before returning to class.
🎓 Dual Credit Policy Update
The PAPA Governing Council approved an update to our Dual Credit Weight Policy in June 2026.
Under the new policy, all dual credit courses that UNM accepts for transfer credit toward a degree will be weighted. Previously, only dual credit courses in English, Math, Science, and History were weighted.
Students who previously completed qualifying dual credit courses will have their transcripts reviewed this fall. If applicable, the new weighting will be applied retroactively following the transcript audit.

🌟 August VIP Staff Member: Miyuki Tully
Congratulations to Miyuki Tully, our August VIP Staff Member of the Month!
Miyuki was nominated by three different members of our PAPA community for her positivity, kindness, and joyful spirit. She consistently goes above and beyond to care for our campus, support our students and staff, and help make PAPA a welcoming place.
We are grateful for the care, generosity, and joy Miyuki brings to PAPA every day.
Originally from Japan, Miyuki speaks Japanese and has a deep appreciation for caring for her family, friends, and community. Her kindness extends far beyond our school walls.
Here are some of the wonderful things people shared about Miyuki:
“She provides consistent, quality work that keeps our campus clean, and she does it with a spirit of humble generosity.”
“Last year, I saw her doing tasks and changing out the water for us. She was not only efficient but so kind and sweet to anyone talking to her. I’ve never seen her without a smile.”
“Miyuki’s personality and work ethic are truly outstanding. She is always positive, kind, and willing to help others. She consistently goes above and beyond in her work and brings a wonderful attitude to everything she does.”
Miyuki also shared with us that she has a special connection with a Native American family who considers her part of their family. They call her sister or aunt, and she has people around the world—including in England, Italy, Germany, Australia, Canada, Mexico, and Colombia—who lovingly call her Auntie.
That spirit of connection, generosity, and caring for others is truly part of who Miyuki is. ❤️
