  • Every day, you have a choice about how you show up—in the classroom, on the stage, in the studio, on the lunch field, and in our community.
  • This year, we are challenging ourselves to be:
  • 🎯 CONSISTENT — Do your best, every day.
  • 💡 INTENTIONAL — Make choices that move you closer to your goals.
  • 🤝 RESPECTFUL — Treat yourself, others, and our school with kindness and respect.
  • Remember: Your performance is more than what happens on a stage. It’s how you live, learn, lead, and treat others every day.
  • When a student has three tardies in one class period, the student will receive one lunch detention. The cycle will start over again when that detention is served.
  • PERFORM WITH PURPOSE! 🐼”
  • The PAPA way is all about creativity, expression, and kindness. This means we hold the door open for others, we take care of our space and belongings, we leave things better than we found it.  Did you notice a PAPA student demonstrating kindness? Nominate them for PAPAPAWsitivity by completing the form outside the front office or emailing info@paparts.org.
  • Spirit count winners: Week 1: Congratulations to Ms. Eiland’s class; Week 2: Shout out to Ms. Dominguez’s class. Who will win bragging rights this Friday? Wear your PAPA shirt, or panda gear every Friday.
  • Lunchtime- You must let your 1st period teacher know if you will be eating school lunch so Chef Nicole can prepare enough food for everyone who wants it. Breakfast and lunch are free for students each school day. Our school is reimbursed for some of the meal cost, and this means there are elements of lunch that are required for you to take, and some elements are optional. Please follow the signs and directions in the cafe. Once you have your tray, head outside for some fresh air and sunshine.  Menu:

  • The PAPA Governing Council has approved an update to the Dual Credit weight policy (June 2026). All dual credit courses that UNM will accept for transfer credit towards a degree will be weighted. Previously, only courses in English, Math, Science, and History were weighted. Current students who have already completed a dual credit course will have their transcript review and weight adjusted to retroactively apply this new policy through a transcript audit this fall.

There’s a lot of information that we should go over before the year gets going. If you decide to join later, you’re welcome to join ANY meeting with a poem or piece of literature that means something to you. High school poetry club is a safe space for all writers so please join us in room 7 every Tuesday during lunch.
  • Middle School Poetry Club will be meeting in Ms. Dominguez’s room, room 13, on Tuesday, August 18th. Bring your ideas for a great year together. New members welcome!

  • Hello Papa citizens! Do you know what today is? If you said Monday August 24th, then you’d be WRONG. Just kidding, that is today’s date. But more importantly, it was supposed to be the last day to participate in Thespian Troupe’s Double Good Popcorn fundraiser, but they’ve given you two extra days to make your purchase and support Troupe! I’m sure you’re all familiar with the flyers we’ve posted around the school by now. Please go visit one of those and use the link that we’ve provided to buy some delicious popcorn to support our Thespians. Big thanks to everyone who has already purchased popcorn—We couldn’t get to Drama Fest without you! If you haven’t bought any yet, you now have until 3:30 on Wednesday to partake in the fundraiser. Thanks! 🔗 https://popup.doublegood.com/s/f9y29zm0
