Ms. Chandler is coordinating Credit Recovery/Summer School at PAPA this summer.

If you would like to enroll into Summer School to recover credits needed to graduate, the courses will be taken online using the BYU program.

Session 1 June 1-25 (registration and payment must be submitted by 3 pm on May 28)

Session 2 June 28-July 23 (off July 5; registration and payment must be submitted by 3 pm on June 23)

To enroll:

1.  Go to paparts.org and click on the fork and knife icon on the bottom left-hand side of the home page and make a credit card payment for the course(s) you wish to enroll in.  Please make sure to type “summer school” and the name of the course(s) in the comment section.  Each semester course fee is based on your student’s lunch fee status, as follows: $175 Full Pay, $125 Reduced, or $60 Free.

Please join the classroom and complete the Student/Parent Agreement.

Classes can be taken during either session, or students may take up to two classes per session, with the understanding that each semester class will take 40-60 hours of work per session to complete the course on time.

Once you have:

1. Completed the Google Form to register for Summer School, paid for the course, joined the google classroom for BYU/Summer School, and completed the PAPA Summer School Student_Parent Agreement 2021 – email me or text me to let me know.

2. I will send email instructions with the summer school website link, your student’s username and password, and student instructions. You and your student will be able to contact me anytime at #505-738-3541 or at jchandler@paparts.org.
3. Instructions for students will also be posted in the BYU/Summer School Google Classroom.

I will check in with the students frequently to check on their progress. I will email students and parents if they are falling behind.

We can arrange to come to school so that I may offer support if you are interested in that as well.

Materials can also be printed if needed. This option would be at the end of the course in “Course Resources”. They will be in PDF format.
