Hello PAPA Families just a reminder that we would love to see you at our Spaghetti Dinner/Townhall on March 13th from 5:00 to 6:30 PM to get your feedback and ideas about our Graduate Profile. This gathering includes a delicious and complimentary Spaghetti Dinner by our own chef Pro Padilla! We hope that you will join us and help us build our Graduate Profile-We can’t do it without you!

A big congratulations and shout out to Robin Blakeman for earning 1st runner-up for the state competition in Santa Fe yesterday at Poetry out loud. Poetry Out Loud is a national arts education program that encourages the study of great poetry by offering free educational materials and a dynamic recitation competition for high school students across the country. Since the program began in 2005, more than 4.1 million students and 68,000 teachers from 17,000 schools and organizations across the nation have participated. Poetry Out Loud is presented through a partnership with New Mexico Arts, a division of the Department of Cultural Affairs, National Endowment for the Arts, and Poetry Foundation. Congratulations Robin!
All students who drive are required to park in the west lot. There is no parking on the street or in the dirt lot except with permission from Mrs. Chavez. If you have a late start or early release, please see her for a special parking pass that must be displayed. Others will be towed at your expense. Students are NOT permitted to go to their cars during the school day. If you have an emergency and need to access your vehicle, see someone in the office. If you do not have an 8th period, you are not allowed to be on campus, this includes the parking lot.
The next 8th Period Lite is 3/15. There will be no 8th period classes, study hall provided for those that cannot get picked up after 7th period. (March 15th, April 19th)
Alongside is a nonjudgmental mental health chatbot that helps in times of stress anxiety sadness anger try it today. Alongside is a virtual counselor in every student’s pocket. It allows schools to reach all students who need support. app.alongside.care

Family member cost is $5.00 per meal and PAPA students are the regular price. Please order and pay by Friday, March 10, 2023. Please only one family member per student. PAY and Submit by Friday 3/10/23 – online through PayPal -https://www.paparts.org/make-a-payment-here/ Or go to the school website: www.paparts.org , click on the fork, plate and knife icon on our website, fill out the form as required, type “St. Patrick Lunch” along with the # of adults over 18 years of age and the # of children under 18 that will be ordering in the COMMENTS section, then submit.

A Graduate Profile? It is discussed in-depth here, but in short, it is a document that defines community goals for cognitive, interpersonal, and academic skills of students by the time they graduate.
Why Are Parents needed? Because these are communal goals a profile requires input from all members and stakeholders in our community.
