Spirit Day is Coming!
Join us this Friday March 3rd to celebrate school pride. We invite you to show up in your best PAPA panda spirit gear yet! This is the biggest school pride celebration so far this year. Look out for spirit prizes from NHS! If you aren’t in full panda, what are you even doing?

Students! This month’s Spotlight performance will be on Tuesday, Feb. 28 on the outside performance space. Come out to check out this month’s show!

Next week, Congresswoman Stansbury’s District Office will be hosting a Youth Summit, where they are convening local community organizations for young people across New Mexico’s First Congressional District. During this youth-led event, stuens will have the opportunity to connect with one another, participate in hands-on activities with local organizations like Together for Brothers, New Mexico DECA, the Explora Teen Center, and Albuquerque Community Safety. Congresswoman Stansbury’s District Office is reaching out to invite your student to attend the Congressional Office’s Youth Summit on Saturday, February 25th, 2023, beginning at 11 AM at the Explora Science Center. Students ages 11-18 are welcome to attend this free event. Middle school guys, gals, and non-binary pals! Middle School GSA is meeting tomorrow, February 28th, during middle school lunch in room 25. See you there!

Student Council and PJHS present the middle school Spring Fling Decades Dance on March 3rd at 6:30PM. You can dress in any decade. Tickets are $10, and will be on sale until March 2nd at lunch. Hope to see you there!

Please join the PAPA THRIVES Team to discuss the trajectory of equity, Social Emotional learning and academic achievement at our school, With a focus on the Graduate Profile. We want as much community involvement as possible so please make your voice heard. You can attend coffee and chat on March 9th at 7:30 to 8:15, Spaghetti Dinner with THRIVES on March 13th at 5:00 PM, or a Lunchtime Zoom on March 14th at 12:20. Climate crew meets every Thursday during Middle school lunch from 12-12:20 in Mrs. Cunningham’s room-room 11. Anyone interested is welcome to join us.

The next 8th Period Lite is 3/15. There will be no 8th period classes, study hall provided for those that cannot get picked up after 7th period. March 15th, April 19th
