A message from PAPA: Announcements Week of 10/24/22

Thank you!
Thank you everyone for your donations, time, and energy to make our community fall carnival, Panda BamBOO!, a flying success! We cannot thank you enough for your support. A great time was had by all.
Thank you for voting for this year’s outstanding pumpkin Carving/Decorating. There was a great turnout of talent, as always!
Please help us congratulate our pumpkin winners: 1st place winner Cass Hyer, 2nd place Veronica Medina, and 3rd Place Winner Audreena CDebaca!

As the weather cools down this season we encourage everyone to bring a jacket for the cooler weather. Most days students will continue to eat outside during lunch as we encourage everyone to get some fresh air and movement during lunchtime.

If your child develops any symptoms of illness we encourage you to get tested for COVID and notify the school COVID point of contact, Tamara Lopez at tlopez@paparts.org or call the front office and speak with any adult in the front office. Students who are sick should stay home.

Students that test positive for COVID begin their isolation at the onset of symptoms. The first day of symptoms counts as day 0, counting forward 5 days students may return to school on day 6 provided they are fever free for the last 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication and symptoms are improving. Students will need to wear a well-fit mask for days 6-10.
If your child is experiencing covid-like symptoms; Congestion or runny nose, Fever / chills, dry cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, new loss of taste or smell, headache, fatigue (tiredness), nausea or vomiting, diarrhea, sore throat, muscle aches, please give them a test and call the office.
We reccommend two COVID home rapid tests 24-48 hours apart. If both negative and no fever within 24 hours may return to school. Must send documentation of results to tlopez@paparts.org
