COVID Vaccine Clinic this Thursday
Register to get your COVID Omnicron Booster at school! The actual vaccination process will be quick, less than 2 minutes, especially if you pre-register for the event. Parents, guardians and other family members are allowed to participate. Please register in advance so we have enough vaccine available. We have Premier Medical Group coming in December 1st from 8am-12 pm. Here is the link to register: https://vaccinenm.org/registration.html the code is: SRKSZPA

Individuals will be able to register before if they would like and if not, we can register them at the event. When it comes to minors, parents/guardians need to be present for anyone under the age of 13 to get vaccinated, we do not accept paper consents prefilled. Ages 14 to 17 need to have their parents/guardian pre-register them through the portal and give consent online.

Giving Tree
The PAPA Health and Wellness Team is sponsoring a giving tree again this year. There is a tree outside the front office that will have wish tags from PAPA identified students. Tags will be available to pick up starting this Friday December 2nd. Should you or your family choose to sponsor a gift please take a tag, buy a gift, wrap the gift and return the gift with the gift tag to the main office no later than Monday morning, December 19th.

Final Exam Schedule
Students will be receiving final exam reviews soon and can start reviewing material, assignments, old tests and quizzes to prepare for their final exams and projects. Final Exams are worth 20% of the Semester 1 Grade.

Quarter 1 (40%) + Quarter 2(40%) + Final Exam (20%)= Semester 1 Grade

Climate crew meets every Thursday during Middle school lunch from 12-12:20 in Mrs. Cunningham’s room-room 11. Anyone interested is welcome to join us.
It’s cold outside! Warm up with hot cocoa and marshmallows or whipped cream after you eat lunch! Ensemble will be selling hot chocolate AFTER everyone eats lunch. Lluvia will be doing custom graffiti art on phone cases, notebooks, bags, and the like. Prices start at $5.
Alongside is a nonjudgmental mental health chatbot that helps in times of stress anxiety sadness anger try it today. Students log in with their school email to access mindfulness practice, journaling, or request an appointment with the school social worker, Ms. Padilla. https://app.alongside.care/
High School Musical Theatre is hosting open auditions for the spring musical, “Mama Mia!” Any high school student interested can participate in the auditions taking place during 8th period on December 8th and December 9th in the Choir Orchestra Building. Students will need to come prepared to sing 1 minute of a Broadway Musical. To sign up for an audition spot or to get more information speak with Mr. Bennett, Mr. Heard, or Mr. Torrez.

Breakfast Menu Lunch Menu

The next 8th Period Lite is 12/7/22. There will be no 8th period classes during 8th period lite while teachers meet in their professional learning communities. Study hall is provided in the cafe’ for those that cannot get picked up after 7th period.

8th Period Lite Dates: December 7th, January 18th, February 15th, March 15th, April 19th

PAPA is hosting mandatory and voluntary study hall sessions Monday- Thursdays and 8th periods for the next two weeks. Students in danger of failing or in need of a quiet space to study or complete work may join.
