PAPA Students Win Prizes in the Hispanic Heritage Month Youth Art Contest
Two PAPA Visual Artists won prizes in the Hispanic Heritage Month Youth Art Contest sponsored by Sandia National Laboratories, Kirtland Air Force Base, NNSA Sandia Site Office and NNSA ABQ Complex. The theme was Art in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math).
Please join me in congratulating Ella Amedi, who won 2nd place in the Middle School category, and Chelsea Christensen, who won 1st place in the High School category! Congrats!
Both Ella and Chelsea will be honored at an award ceremony in October. We’ll be sure to share photos from the event. Also, Ella & Chelsea’s art will be on display, along with over a hundred entries by PAPA MS and HS artists. Stay tuned for our Art in STEM exhibit at PAPA!
