College Preparatory Opportunities
Most recently PAPA students have been invited to attend the New Mexico Education Council College Fair on Tuesday, September 27, 2011. This event will be hosted by New Mexico State University (NMSU). The fair will include post secondary institutions from within and out of the state of New Mexico. Each visiting institution will have a table set up to answer questions that students may have about college admissions, academic programs, cost, financial aid & scholarships, housing, and student services.
The fair will be held from 1-2:00 pm at the NMSU-Albuquerque Center. The center is located at 4501 Indian School Rd NE Ste 100 Albuquerque, NM 87110.
Please note:
- PAPA students attending the fair on Tuesday, September, 27, 2011 will receive an excused absence for 6th and 7th period classes after checking in with PAPA staff at the college fair.
- PAPA staff will be present; however students will be under the supervision of their guardian(s).
- Students attending the fair must arrange for their own transportation under the supervision of their guardian(s).
- This event is not mandatory for PAPA students.
