Film and Media
The PAPA Film and Media department is a dynamic learning workshop.
Students work in the classroom and on location in both personal and professional
projects. PAPA Film has been recognized by the Governor’s Office for excellence
in film for youth for the past two years. We participate and compete regularly in over 20
local, regional, national, and international film festivals.

PAPA Film and Media Fund raising Events
We are very sad to announce the death of our elderly iMac computers. They were greatly loved and well used in the many years of service to the Public Academy for Performing Arts Film and Media students. We bid them farewell. Left behind are the orphans, their future replacements. Please help us raise money to bring these new babies into our Film and Media room. We will take very good care of them.
We’ve got many great ideas to raise money. One of them is the @15 Best Buy Contest. Please let your students participate in the online competition to raise money for our classroom. Additionally we will be selling snacks, a new PAPA Salsa and Queso, selling DVD’s of school events, selling T-shirts, and looking for sponsors and other grant opportunities. Every little bit helps.
