Seniors!
Your presence is required TOMORROW, if you were not present during the last panel, if you are still not done, were not prepared, or still need to give Mr. Torrez your professionally edited, quality cut of music in the right format.  Artist statements & bios should be updated & tech notes completed. The final deadline is TOMORROW.

Middle School Students – Have you ever
wanted to go to the Upside down?!?! NJHS and MSSC are selling tickets during Finals Week at lunch in front of Mr. Power’s office for the Snow Ball on January 10th 2020, 6 to 9! Tickets are seven dollars! Free food with admission but bring extra money for pizza and drinks!

Explora has openings for paid internships for high school Sophomores and some Juniors.  No work experience necessary.  Prefer free lunch approved, flexible schedule and love learning and working with kids  Applications are due January 15th.  Visit https://www.explora.us/yip/

Please check out the updated Academics page on the PAPA website over winter break, including the internship opportunities listed under For Students & Parents, the College Exploration opportunities, and the Scholarships due for next semester.

If you have a sibling or know anyone interested in attending PAPA next year the lottery window Opens January 13th. As part of the application process all students are urged to complete an essay “What strengths would you bring to Public Academy for Performing Arts?” (no word count requirement) and encouraged to attach a letter of recommendation from a teacher, arts instructor or other community member or leader who is familiar with the student’s performing art(s) area of interest.  Submission is to gauge performing arts interest and will in no way effect lottery placement.
