Cast List – Romeo and Juliet
Attention High School Acting students, the cast list for Romeo and Juliet has been posted on the call board outside Room 19. Again, the cast list for Romeo and Juliet has been posted on the call board outside Room 19. No, you can’t leave class to check it. Use your passing periods wisely. Thank you for all of your hard work during auditions. It’s going to be a great show!


Portable Mirrors

New in the Café – Portable Mirrors! They are expensive and delicate. Ms Bologa, Ms Mickey, Mr Bennett and Mr Heard will be in charge of taking them out and putting them away!

Get Lunch First!
If you need to take a test, have a meeting (including a club meeting),  study hall etc, you need to go to the front of the line and get lunch first.  Just let Stella know.  She is at the window.   Remember – the process is get lunch, then go where you need to go.  We appreciate your help!


College and Careers
Seniors! Do you STILL need to register for the October ACT?! Friday, September 28th is the last day to register.  See Ms. Maestas right away if you need help with this.


Juniors, if you want to take the PSAT and you need to pay the fee, please remember that fee is due to Ms. Danfelser by the end of the day on Monday, October 1st.

 

PAPA Senior Tour of UNM Field Trip, Tuesday, October 2nd, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00noon.  Permission slips due to Ms. Maestas before TODAY at 3:00 p.m.

Seniors! The last day to sign up for the November SAT is Friday, October 5th.  If you didn’t do so well on the ACT, consider taking the SAT.  You can study for free on Khan Academy, and you still get 2 free waivers for SAT if you qualify for free or reduced lunch. Please see Ms. Maestas about signing up.

 

Ms. Maestas has fee waiver codes for many colleges, including out of state.  Please see her before paying college application fees!

AUDITIONS

for the Fall Pumpkin Festival
October 3 & 4, 2018
during BOTH middle school & high school lunches – in the Choir/Orchestra Room
We are looking for family-friendly, fun & polished acts.  Be prepared for your audition! Just show up with your music, your instrument, your whatever-you-might-need and be ready to perform!

Attention Actors, Singers, and Dancers: Open auditions for PAPA’s spring musical, The Wizard of Oz, will be held October 29, 30, and 31 during 8th period. Students interested in auditioning must attend all three days of auditions and come prepared to dance, present a monologue no longer than 1 minute, and sing a minute or less of a song from a musical. Audition sign ups will be posted 2 weeks before the event, so please use this time to select and prepare your audition pieces. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Bennett or Mr. Heard for more details.

*Calling all burrito lovers, Foil your dinner plans and stop by the Chipotle at 6810 Menaul Blvd NE in Albuquerque for our fundraiser on Tuesday, October 16 from 5:00pm – 9:00pm. We’re raising money to support PAPA’s Contemporary Dance Ensemble.
